Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the operations of the Security Department during periods when the Installation Security Officer (ISO), Chief of Police, or other leadership are either unavailable or not on station; 2) Overseeing the Security Department operating under guidelines and procedures espoused by leadership; 3) Making judgements where guidelines are lacking, resolve issues that arise during the shift, or pass issues on to leadership; 4) Directing assigned personnel, first responders, auxiliary forces, local police responders, and others aboard the installation; and 5) Providing administrative and technical supervision to shift personnel to include Police Officers, Guards, Military Police, and other personnel during the assigned shift.
