The specific qualifications and minimum education requirements are further described below and within the education section of the job announcement. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Performing experimental research in microbiology or molecular biology as it relates to space or space analog environments and applying it to methods and/or technology development Recommending short- and long-range goals of the organization, develops detailed plans for implementation and oversees implementation of the goals Coordinating research project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations and reporting, to maintain project visibility and provides project status presentations required Participating in processes integral to project planning, requirements definition, development, implementation, and operations for life/space science experiments or studies Your resume must include a clear and detailed narrative description, in your own words, of how you meet the required specialized experience. This is a Research AST, Biological Studies position responsible for coordinating and executing biological science projects for the advancement of space biology and/or human research. The duties include: theoretical and experimental research on the physical and biological processes of living organisms and systems as related to: space biosciences research, aeronautical and space travel, with projects involving spaceflight and/or ground-based research work.
