PCS STATEMENT: PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION COSTS WILL NOT BE PAID FOR THIS POSITION. MAX MILITARY GRADES: Officer (O3), Warrant Officer (CW3) and Enlisted (E8) QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates’ experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant’s record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the required one year of specialized experience at the GS-9 grade level or civilian equivalent which includes experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions; 1) Experience developing and recommending policy; 2) organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations; 3) Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures; and 4) Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. You must also possess the experience, training or education to support your claim for the competency statements listed within the assessment questionnaire. Refer to “How you will be Evaluated” section of this announcement.
