Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in setting up multi-day and overnight trips from start to finish leading groups of up to 30+ people. Must have experience in recreation program activities which involves recreation work in the areas of sports, adventures, trips, etc. Strongly prefer familiarity and knowledge of region within 700 mile area surrounding the base. Experience with RecTrac or similar recreation software is desirable.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation on Ellsworth AFB. This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however, could work up to 40 hours. As a regular employee you are eligible to earn leave and other NAF Benefits.
