Current Civilian Employees of the Organization Current Civilian Employees of the Organization In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Planning and executing training events for DoD passport acceptance agents assigned to passport acceptance facilities world-wide. Coordinating training dates, validating attendance and coordinating with Department of State (DoS) to develop and administer a curriculum for passport agent certification. Coordinating and conducting inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with DoD and DoS certification requirements. Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting the Foreign Clearance Guide and documents submitted to determine if applicants are eligible to apply for a special issuance passport or VISA. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
