Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Education Requirement: To qualify for a pay level, you must have completed the degree requirement and if stated the required semester hours at the next level of education from an accredited university in a related field of study. Basic Education Requirement for Pay Level 11-17: Applicants will have successfully completed a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree which includes or is supplemented by a minimum of 24 semester hours in education, counseling or psychology, of which 12 semester hours will be in guidance, counseling or psychology courses directly related to education. This position is part of the Blackfeet Dormitory, Bureau of Indian Education. As a Home Living Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the education activities of the school to include planning, developing, directing and conducting BIE school programs.
