SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing data on work operations, mishaps, and safety practices to prepare reports of findings that propose corrective measures for unsafe conditions and hazardous work practices; 2) Investigating mishaps, hazard reports, and unsafe or unhealthful working conditions to protect personnel and property; 3 Advising personnel of safety and occupational health measures to control or eliminate hazardous operating processes; and 4) Conducting safety and occupational health inspections and surveys to evaluate effectiveness of unit safety program. **NOTE: This information must be fully supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
