PARALEGAL SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating strong skills in independently researching case law, administrative law and relevant federal and state statutes. 2) Conducting comprehensive legal research to provide substantive support and select relevant material for claims attorneys. 3) Reviewing each claim to ensure legal sufficiency under applicable statutes and initiating actions for additional investigation if needed. 4) Processing and adjudicating tort claims in alignment with federal and state laws. 5) Analyzing complex issues from claims attorneys to formulate queries in legal databases and provide detailed research assistance.
