Current Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience providing assistance in the development, design and implementation of military HR systems such as Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A), Army Recruit Information Support System (ARISS) or Reception Module (RECMOD); AND experience providing systems support to ensure functionality throughout the life-cycle of developed HR programs and/or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). About the Position: The Employee is the primary lead for Accession Information Environment (AIE) prototype development in the reception battalion, Personnel Affairs Branch (PAB) and Initial Receiving Branch (IRB). Serves as lead technical advisor in the PAB and IRB, responsible for overseeing and approving actions related to reception battalion in AIE for Initial Entry Training (IET): Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Soldiers coming into the Army for training.
