Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Knowledge of basic formats, forms, and common office terminology. Skill to operate office equipment to include computer, fax, copier, calculator, etc. Six months experience as a fully qualified typist preferred. Ability to read and understand operating standards and procedures for service, service recovery, sales and store brand and work within the position to execute these standards properly. Must be able to learn and operate the Point of Sale (POS) and reservation systems. Must be able to work with and become familiar with different travel locations and provide the information to the client. Experience with booking vacation reservations and travel agent terminology is preferred. Cash handling, basic math and register experience is strongly preferred. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting, UP to 20 lbs., may be required.
