SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Developing and mentoring others within an Engineering and Scientific Development Professionals (ESDP) program; (2) Utilizing oral and written communication skills; (3) Performing work related to the mission and business profile of the organization; (4) Working independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to identify and solve problems, and implementing process improvements to enhance the workforce; and (5) Utilizing products and technologies associated with the department, with the ability to clearly explain their basic functionality.
