To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience reviewing, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of energy and water conservation, greenhouse gas reduction, and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) programs. Such experience must include: developing program goals, guidance, tools and resources; reviewing and interpreting policy and regulations governing (EVSE), and energy and water conservation; representing the organization on program issues; and serving as an effective advocate for the program by providing control and technical direction for program implementation.
As an Energy Program Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring efforts are directed towards meeting national targets, measures, and requirements regarding energy and water conservation, greenhouse gas reductions, and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). This position is located in the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Facilities Management & Services Programs Division. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
