Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with workload distribution among subordinate employees; providing administrative guidance to medical facility managers regarding policies/regulations; analyzing medical treatment facility (MTF) operational performance for trends or deviations in Patient Administration Divisions; and assisting with the development of procedures and related trainings for MTF staff to improve Patient Administration Divisions performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Health Systems Specialist, for Jacksonville Naval Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advance leave accrual may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD.
