BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR) DEGREE: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.-or- Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.-or- Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Selective Placement Factor: Must possess licensure as a Licensure as a certified Social Worker or equivalent certification to provide independent behavioral health services. In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience providing administrative supervision for behavioral health staff to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies; responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive mental health program, providing evidenced based treatment to individuals, couples, and families; providing leadership in the development of policies and procedures. You must meet all qualification requirements by the cut off date for application review.
Provides administrative and clinical services to the Kyle Health Center, Behavioral Health Clinic. The incumbent will take a leadership role in planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating a comprehensive mental health program. Provide top level clinical expertise to client/patients.
