Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration of 24 semester hours in video production, digital media, media production, digital film, or related field. OR Three years of general work experience of which one year must have been equivalent to the next lower grade. In addition to the three years of general experience, must possess knowledge and experience performing the below tasks. 1. Determines what camera and equipment is necessary for filming. 2. Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production In additions to the above education or work experience, applicants must be able to perform the follow tasks listed below. 1. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, lift, carrying, and load and unload equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. 2. Must be able to endure long periods of repetitious work in a sitting or standing position. 3. May be required to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
