You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) experience in mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices such as metrology work; (2) experience in test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) standards and support instrumentation (3) experience performing or overseeing calibration/certification tests to include providing technical assistance and guidance to lower grade employees, engineers, scientists, physicists, and technicians. Specialized experience for GS position must be ratable, meaning must be able to locate on resume 52 weeks at next lower grade (GS-09).
