You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes: Applying program management principles to direct the day-to-day operations of an organization. Examples of such experience could include: – Consulting with, making recommendations to and implementing solutions for executive level staff; OR – Planning, organizing and directing operations to include growth management, cost control and savings; OR – Researching and interpreting directives or other authorities on governmental regulations; OR – Analyzing and interpreting established and proposed policies and procedures; OR – Planning, organizing, directing, and/or leading the work of others performing data analytics and data mining or work comparable in nature. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
This position is located in the United States Mint, Office of Strategy and Performance, Office of Policy & Analysis. The mission of the Office of Strategy and Performance is to implement all elements of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), the GPRA Modernization Act, and relevant sections of Title V and Title 31 of the United States Code, as well as all other strategic planning, management and performance mandates governing Executive Branch agencies.
