BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Apply OPM Qualification Standards for Nurse Series 0610: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0600/nurse-series-0610/ In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience in operating room nursing practice, including scrubbing and circulating nursing services, provide leadership, direction, supervision, and technical expertise in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of nursing services; promote the professional practices of nursing using evidence-based practice principles and professional peer review. Position coordinates all aspects of nursing in the Operating Room (OR). Provide leadership, direction & technical expertise in planning, development, implementation & evaluates delivery of OR Nursing services. Reports to Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) & Assistant Chief Nurse Executive (ACNE). This position is located at Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), Division of Nursing Services, Operating Room, Shiprock, NM.
