TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience demonstrating the ability to analyze problems to identify factors, gather pertinent data/information, recognize problems and/or solutions, plan and organize work and effective communication. At least one (1) year of experience must be equivalent to the FG/GS-4 level work in the administrative, professional, technical, investigative or comparable work area. OR Education Substitution: Successful completion of a full 4 year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree, gained from an accredited college or university. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application you possess one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: applying medical knowledge and terminology in program management; using medical clinical information databases; reading, interpreting, and summarizing medical information and documents; participating in site visits; and identifying problem areas and providing recommendations for improvement. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Serves as a Program Analyst for one or more of the following regional programs and activities in assigned Regional Aerospace Medicine Division: Airman Medical Certification, Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) Health, ATCS Applicant Medical Clearance, Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Designee Management, Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Surveillance and Internal Substance Abuse (ISAP). NOTE: Specific programs assigned depend on regional location.
