You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-09, you must have one-year specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level that is directly related to the position and has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is: Leading a small component of a team, program, or project; AND Communicating with customers internally and externally to provide information and resolve issues; AND Applying and researching rules, regulations, policies, and practices to gather facts, and draw conclusions and/or make recommendations. OR EDUCATION: You may qualify with a master’s or equivalent graduate degree, OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work OR a LL.B. or J.D. if related; (attach a copy of your transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit) OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. The total percentage of education and experience must equal 100% to qualify. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Kingsridge Federal Records Center. The incumbent supervises subordinate Archives Technicians in the Reference and/or Transfer and Disposition functions of the Records Center Program (RCP) who provide reference related service for all Federal agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, subject to the NR Reimbursable Program.
