This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0819 series. Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You MUST provide a copy of your current license with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert consulting and advisory services on environmental restoration program management and requirements; 2) Managing and executing of environmental compliance and/or restoration contracts and negotiating a fair and reasonable price for A-E contracts or modifications for an organization; and 3) Experience with Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act related to restoration program execution.
