PROGRAM SPECIALIST (CPPA)

To qualify for the GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising personnel on pay policies and procedures (e.g., Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations (DODFMR), Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR), or CPPA Handbook, OPNAVINST 1000.23) to resolve program issues (e.g., Naval Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Electronic-leave (E-Leave) or Electronic Service Record) for a Command Pay and Personnel program. To qualify for the GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support by assisting with management functions (e.g., researching or interpreting policies and procedures) for a Command Pay and Personnel program.
