MWR Tractor Operator

-One and half years of experience relating to a golf course maintenance operation. -One year of experience operating tractors and other related heavy-duty equipment -Skill needed to maneuver driver operated machinery in small places, tight, confined spaces in a small turning radius and on various grades. -Skill needed to operate both the tractor and equipment and ability to manipulate both the tractor and the equipment controls at the same time. -Ability to make multiple connections between tractor and attached or towed equipment. -Skill and knowledge to hook up, alignment and setting the height of blades -Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. -Ability to communicate effectively with others. -Possess or be able to applicable driver’s licenses.
This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest. The primary purpose of the position is to operate farm-type tractors or attached equipment to maintain golf course grounds. Incumbent is assigned to the Sea N Air golf course grounds maintenance located at Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado.
