Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 (or equivalent) grade level in the Federal government or private sector, performing the following duties: Providing supervisory oversight of the Audiovisual staff and contractors. Addressing issues and problems and providing solutions; Working with stakeholders to develop and implement plans across the organization, providing training, as needed; Managing the design, development, implementation, modification, and maintenance of the USHMM’s Audio Visual systems; Preparing budget requests for Audio Visual systems, hardware, software, and services; AND Determining program priorities and developing plans for the unit’s work that are responsive to USHMM priorities and that are innovative, creative, and include potential cost efficiencies.
