Electric Power Controller

The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to perform, under normal supervision, the tasks of an WG-5407-11 Electric Power Controller demonstrated through experience including operating an entire system for a Combined Heat and Power Plant; Producing electrical power via gas turbine, diesel, and solar production. Ensuring proper distribution of electricity; Responsible for steam production and distribution; Directing personnel to maintain safe and efficient plant operation. You will serve as a Electric Power Controller in the Public Works Department, MCRD, Parris Island, SC. The positions purpose is to ensure the proper operation of the electrical co-generation system and steam production of the Combined Heat and Power Plant. Responsible for producing electrical power by gas turbine generator, diesel generator, and solar production and ensuring proper distribution of purchased electricity. Responsible for ensuring steam production and distribution for facilities.
