Specialized experience for the GS-13 grade level is one year of experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent, which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: – Experience applying principles, concepts, and process improvement techniques in a manufacturing and/or production operations; AND – Experience independently resolving production, labor, machine, and material conflicts or issues. Specialized experience for the GS-12 grade level is one year of experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent, which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: -Experience performing project management with experience of building systems and/or manufacturing processes.
This position is located in the United States Mint in Philadelphia, PA in the Manufacturing and Support Divisions. The incumbent directs project management activities, serving as a General Engineer with responsibility for directing project management and related execution activities involved with the acquisition, design, development of specifications and standards, equipment layout, planning and installation, commissioning, training, life-cycle engineering and integration.
