The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/25/2024. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Completed formal USG, accredited, or documented intelligence-based training program related to All-Source Intelligence, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT); Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) or a sub category; Evaluating, testing and validating intelligence research reports; Identifying immigration benefit fraud trends and patterns through complex analysis of large volumes of raw data; Producing raw intelligence reports in the form of Intelligence Information Reports (IIR); Serving as an expert in immigration-related intelligence information and evaluating new concepts in the intelligence field. These positions are located in the Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) Directorate, FDNS RAIO Vetting Branch, in both the Asylum Classified Vetting Section (Atlanta) and the Refugee Classified Vetting Section (Camp Springs only). As an Intelligence Research Specialist, you will represent the organization on committees and working groups; participate in developing and drafting policies, procedures, and guidelines; analyze and evaluate large volumes of intelligence materials.
