Provide course descriptions as necessary. Specialized Experience Requirement: GS-07: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level. Examples include: Processed requisitions making sure that funds availability, work plans are correct and that the procurement documentation is signed and attached. Processed data including validation for correctness and entry into existing or development of new databases using the appropriate software systems. Received data from multiple sources in multiple forms, including email, reviewed the data, and processed it to meet a variety of administrative needs. Provided advice on a wide variety of technical and administrative duties. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
This position is located on Region 5, Regional Aviation Group in Vallejo, CA. Location is negotiable within the state of California. The incumbent serves as the administrative technical point of contact for the unit. Incumbent accomplishes and provides advice on a wide variety of technical and administration duties.
