Lead IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture)

Candidates must meet all of the specialized experience requirements outlined below in order to be deemed as qualified.
Specialized experience includes the following:
Candidates must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service as outlined below:
1) Experience directing and overseeing IT Enterprise Architecture contractors responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and integrating new and updated IT and business architecture standards.
2) Experience managing and overseeing Enterprise Architecture program and advising senior IT leadership and other stakeholders on program maturity, achievements, risk, and issues.
3) Experience providing senior level advice on matters pertaining to Enterprise Architecture with primary focus on technology modernization, cloud adoption, security, and business transformation.
4) Experience formulating, developing and implementing strategies, plans, policies, standards, and guidelines for the acquisition, installation, integration, and migration of technologies, IT solutions, and business processes in line with Federal security requirements.
5) Experience leading and managing cloud platform adoption in federal agency or organization.
Additional Requirements: The incumbent must be able to obtain certification within 6 months of appointment and maintain at least Level II COTR certification.
The incumbent be able to obtain and maintain ACUM/SCUM or PMI Project Management Professional certification within 12 months of appointment. You will be evaluated for this position on the following Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other characteristics (KSAOs): Ability to direct and manage contractors who perform Enterprise Architecture work
Skill in providing senior level advice on matters pertaining to Enterprise Architecture
Ability to lead cloud modernization plans and efforts
Ability to manage, lead and oversee IT projects PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
