Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience includes the following: 1) Experience leading, managing or overseeing a team dedicated to performing IT Enterprise Architecture work.2) Experience planning, managing, directing, implementing and evaluating high priority, sensitive, highly critical and/or unique IT Enterprise Architecture projects.3) Experience developing, implementing and maintaining IT related technical policies, programs, plans, and objectives in order to manage and control an organization’s IT Technical, Architecture, and Data programs.4) Experience serving as a principal staff expert for systems and IT infrastructure Engineering, Architecture, and Data, design, and solutions delivery functions within an agency or organization.5) Experience serving as the organization’s senior advisor on Cloud technologies, Cloud adoption, enterprise technologies, DevSecOps, micro-services architecture, application architecture, distributed network architecture, system integration, data services, voice services, and system modernization.6) Experience writing or managing creators of statements of work, participating in evaluation of proposals, and managing COTR’s or serving as COTR for services contracts.
You will be evaluated for this position on the following Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other characteristics (KSAOs):
1) Ability to serve as the principal staff expert regarding all matters pertaining to IT Enterprise Architecture.
2) Ability to advise senior technical leaders regarding all matters pertaining to IT Enterprise Architecture.
3) Ability to serve as a COTR and manage multiple IT contracts.
4) Ability to lead, manage or oversee an IT team.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position serves as the Associate Chief Information Officer for Architecture and Engineering, Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Technology Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Managing Director, Federal Communications Commission located in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses will not be paid.
