To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-05 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Scheduling meetings, vehicle use, and conference room availability. Receives, refers, and interacts with staff and or customers within and outside the immediate organizational unit. OR; Successfully completed four (4) years of education beyond the high school level. Education is obtained from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR; A combination of education and experience when combined fully meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience required. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for the GS-05 grade level. Must submit Transcripts. GS-06 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Performs office automation duties which include the preparation of ad hoc and reoccurring reports, forms, correspondence, and presentation materials which may include complex graphs, charts, and tabular material. Compiles, organizes and tracks program data which may include statistical information in support of the program operations. Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
This position serves the Division of information Resources by performing a combination of administrative and Information Technology Customer Support tasks. Such work includes functions necessary for the efficient management of an office and ranges from timekeeping, preparing travel orders/ vouchers, ordering and tracking equipment, supplies, and services, and facilitating work on information technology tickets. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.
