Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative and analytical duties directly related to support civil authorities in Homeland Defense and Civil Support contingencies, exercises and operations. Analyzing, reconciling, compiling differences from outside organizations and agencies to identify internal shortfalls and limitations that may be a direct or indirect impact to the mission. Experience preparing emergency management policies and procedures using knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

About the Position: The Operations & Planning Officer works on complex planning and programming projects and assignments for contingency planning initiatives to carry out the USARNORTH Commanders responsibilities for providing Defense Support.
