EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Creating an emergency management plan in accordance with federal, state, local, and command rules and regulations; 2) Developing policies and procedures in response to emergencies (i.e. chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, fire, natural disasters); 3) Maintaining an emergency operations center (i.e. maintaining equipment, developing budget submissions; implementing training, etc.); 4) Analyzing emergency management incidents and responses to determine appropriate responses and/or areas for improvement.
