You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Two years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work that provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices. Experience must demonstrate knowledge of proper cash handling procedures, the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems used when receiving payment from customers, and the ability to operate cash register or point of sales system. Must have skill in gathering, interpreting and evaluating data; knowledge of retail sales, purchasing, inventory control and marketing/advertising. Must have experience in budgeting and be able to interpret such data for daily use. The experience must have provided knowledge of accounting and financial planning principles and procedures. Must possess skill dealing with the public. Must be able to read, write and speak English and able to communicate effectively. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of RecTrac POS system is highly desired. Must be able to work Monday – Friday and one Saturday per month. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier-1). About the position: This is a NAF position with the 61st Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation on Fort MacArthur Military Reserve Base, San Pedro, California. This position is considered Regular Part Time. The position is guaranteed 20 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week.
