Employment and Training Administration - Department of Labor
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes meeting ALL of the following statements:
– Experience developing, interpreting, and applying apprenticeship laws and regulations. – Experience performing audits or in-depth reviews of apprenticeship practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. – Experience working with potential and existing customers to implement, develop, register, and service apprenticeship program standards for supervisor review and approval.- Experience working with potential and existing customers to identify, research, and develop industry occupations.
This position is located in the US. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Apprenticeship, DRAP, Standards and Occupations Team. The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) contributes to the more efficient functioning of the U.S. labor market by providing high quality job training, employment, labor market information, and income maintenance services primarily through state and local workforce development systems.
