Warehouse Associate

Pay: $21 - $26/hour

Position summary

You’ll support warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, preparing, and shipping printers, copiers, supplies, parts, and related equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized work environment.

Receiving and shipping

  • Receive and process inbound shipments.
  • Verify shipment quantities against shipping documentation.
  • Route equipment, supplies, and materials to appropriate staging or storage locations.
  • Inspect incoming and staged equipment for damage, missing components, or discrepancies.
  • Document inspection findings according to established procedures.
  • Prepare outbound LTL and parcel shipments.
  • Package, label, document, and stage shipments for carrier pickup.

Inventory and warehouse support

  • Prepare equipment and materials for internal workflow priorities.
  • Move inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational documentation.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain proper storage practices.
  • Remove pallets and packaging materials and support recycling activities.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Participate in required safety meetings and follow safety procedures.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience required.
  • Ability to follow company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Basic computer experience, including Microsoft Office.
  • 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel preferred.

Physical and equipment requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, sometimes with assistance or equipment.
  • Ability to push wheeled electronics weighing up to 300 pounds.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Forklift certification is preferred or may be provided.
  • Ability to safely move and position equipment using proper material handling methods.
  • Ability to work around packaging materials, shrink-wrap equipment, and occasional toner dust.
  • Ability to read computer screens and written materials and use basic office systems.

Work environment

  • Fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Climate-controlled facility.
  • Work involves handling equipment ranging from small supplies to large multifunction devices.
  • Noise levels are typically moderate.
