Warehouse Associate

Pay: $21.75 - $22.25/hour

What this position involves

You’ll support warehouse operations in a food production environment by receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy, food safety, and equipment safety standards.

Warehouse responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive, inspect, and store inventory using FIFO and FEFO procedures.
• Move products between warehouse and production departments.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Apply required barcodes, pallet tags, and allergen labels.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Report damaged products and inventory discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety requirements.
• Follow PPE, OSHA, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Work with production, inventory, and logistics teams to meet daily goals.

Experience and qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience, with food manufacturing experience preferred, or 2+ years of forklift or reach truck experience.
• At least 2 years of experience using RF scanning systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
