Warehouse Associate

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $23.64/hour

Schedule: Primarily 4-day work week, 8:00 AM start time, Sundays off

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse distribution operations by picking orders, building pallets, inspecting shipments, operating warehouse equipment, tracking inventory, and helping keep products moving safely and accurately through a multi-temperature warehouse.

Warehouse responsibilities

• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets for customer orders.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts in high-traffic warehouse areas.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and product quality.
• Use RF scanners, inventory systems, and warehouse technology to track orders and inventory.
• Use a voice-directed picking system to select and prepare customer orders.
• Read labels, count products, and complete order paperwork.
• Maintain safety, productivity, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Support cleaning and additional warehouse duties as needed.

What you’ll need

• Valid forklift certification or electric pallet jack experience required for selector work.
• 1+ year of safe equipment operation experience.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Team-oriented work style.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.

Physical and warehouse conditions

• Temperature-controlled warehouse with dry, cooler, and freezer areas ranging from -5°F to 38°F.
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
