Warehouse Worker

Employment type: Full-time

Pay: $20 - $25.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, handling, pulling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while keeping the warehouse safe, organized, and orderly.

What you’ll do

• Pull materials from the storage yard and warehouse to fill pick tickets.
• Verify quantities and items being shipped against invoices.
• Load merchandise into company vehicles.
• Receive materials and verify items against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Use forklifts and order pickers to process warehouse orders.
• Transport, gather, distribute, and stock materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean condition.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Report equipment defects or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Keep the warehouse organized and orderly at all times.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and employees.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks.
• Ability to read and write routine reports or job orders.
• Ability to speak, read, and hear English.
• Basic math skills using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Regular use of hands to grasp, lift, and reach.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required.
• Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Work may include elevated balconies and a usually loud noise level.
