About the Role
This opportunity is for a Recruiting Coordinator who will support the recruitment process from job posting and candidate sourcing through interviews and onboarding. The role coordinates hiring activities, maintains accurate candidate information, supports hiring managers and HR partners, and helps provide a timely, organized candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
The position combines interview coordination, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking system administration, onboarding support, recruitment reporting, employer branding, and hiring compliance. Success requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, familiarity with sourcing techniques and job boards, and proficiency with ATS and HR software.
What You'll Do
- Create and post job descriptions across job boards, the employer's career site, and social media platforms.
- Work with hiring managers to identify effective channels for attracting qualified candidates.
- Source potential candidates through online databases, social media, networking events, and other recruiting channels.
- Maintain and update a talent pool of prospective candidates for future openings.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers and coordinate the interview process.
- Communicate interview format, timing, expectations, and other relevant details to candidates and interviewers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide candidates with timely updates regarding application status and next steps.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position qualifications.
- Maintain accurate and current candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
- Support new-hire onboarding by coordinating required paperwork, training schedules, and orientation sessions.
- Coordinate with HR to help provide a smooth transition for new employees.
- Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate diversity.
- Use recruitment data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Support employer branding through social media, job postings, and candidate-experience initiatives.
- Follow applicable hiring policies and regulations, including equal opportunity and affirmative action guidelines.
- Stay current on recruitment and talent acquisition trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Familiarity with candidate sourcing techniques and job boards.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort using remote communication tools such as Zoom and Slack.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruitment or HR support; internship experience is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
