About the Role
This remote Business Analyst opportunity focuses on analyzing healthcare business processes, translating customer workflows into technical requirements, and supporting the configuration and implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) software. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying workflow improvements, configuring application functionality, and ensuring software solutions meet customer needs, user specifications, and project objectives.
The position combines business analysis, healthcare IT, software implementation, and client-facing project support. Responsibilities include configuring the Arize application, developing forms and workflows, testing software integrations, troubleshooting system issues, and providing end-user training. The Business Analyst works directly with customers and the Customer Project Team throughout implementation, applying knowledge of behavioral healthcare standards, technical systems, and operational processes to deliver effective software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate directly with customers and project stakeholders throughout software implementation, serving as an active member of the Customer Project Team.
- Gather, review, analyze, and document customer business requirements, translating healthcare workflows and operational needs into technical and functional requirements for Electronic Health Record systems.
- Document and evaluate existing business processes and clinical workflows to identify operational requirements, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist the Project Team in preparing user requirements documentation and defining application specifications that support customer business objectives.
- Configure the Arize software application under the guidance of the Engagement Leader, ensuring system functionality aligns with defined customer requirements and implementation specifications.
- Apply knowledge of behavioral healthcare standards and operational practices to recommend appropriate system configuration and setup options to customers.
- Develop expertise in application tools and functionality, including creating and modifying forms and workflows to support customer requirements.
- Apply technical and operational knowledge to perform software testing and integration testing of implemented applications, systems, and software solutions.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues requiring changes to configured or implemented software applications and related solutions.
- Evaluate completed system implementations, troubleshoot functionality issues, and verify that configured solutions meet customer expectations and project requirements.
- Participate in testing application updates, software enhancements, and new features to assess functionality and customer impact.
- Provide software training and end-user support during implementation and after deployment to help customers effectively use the application.
- Work closely with implementation team members to support project delivery, address emerging issues, and maintain alignment with established business and project objectives.
- Perform additional responsibilities and project assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years of work experience.
- Proven professional experience in healthcare IT, business analysis, or a related field.
- Experience applying knowledge of information technology, software solutions, and software management systems to business or operational requirements.

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare informatics or business administration, or equivalent experience supporting clinical expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare environments.
- Prior experience in software development and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments.
