Warehouse Associate

Pay: $19.00/hour

Position summary

The Warehouse & Shipping Associate supports daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution operations in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. The role involves operating a stand-up forklift, moving materials between facilities, loading and unloading trailers, preparing customer orders, and keeping warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.

What you'll work on

• Drive a company truck between local warehouse locations and production facilities.
• Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers and delivery vehicles.
• Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.
• Stage ingredients and materials for production use.
• Store finished products in freezer and refrigerated storage areas.
• Perform inventory control and stock rotation activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, freezer, and cooler areas.
• Follow company safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and comply with workplace policies.
• Assist with additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
• Warehouse and shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to work in cold storage and freezer environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Schedule and work environment

• Monday-Friday, with Saturdays if needed.
• 3:15pm to 12am.
• Work is performed in a food manufacturing facility with exposure to warehouse, refrigerated, freezer, and production environments.
• Employees may be exposed to machinery noise, food allergens, and varying temperatures.
• Appropriate personal protective equipment is provided and required at all times.
