This opportunity is for a Senior Data Analyst who will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that support product, business, and operational decision-making. The role serves as a bridge between data, product, and business teams by asking the right questions, validating assumptions, defining meaningful measures of success, and making complex information easier to understand and act on.

The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure decisions are supported by reliable data. The role also involves the responsible use of AI tools to accelerate analysis, exploration, and communication while maintaining strong analytical judgment, accuracy, and data integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Own analytics for a product area or business domain and take responsibility for delivering high-quality analytical work.
• Shape how success is measured by defining appropriate metrics, KPIs, and evaluation approaches.
• Guide stakeholders toward data-informed decisions by translating complex findings into clear recommendations.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and help strengthen analytical capabilities across the team.
• Improve analytical practices, tooling, workflows, and overall data literacy.
• Use AI tools strategically to deepen insights, accelerate exploration, and reduce time-to-decision while maintaining strong analytical judgment.
• Independently manage analytical projects from initial scoping through final delivery.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Communicate project progress, expectations, and analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Balance multiple priorities, analytical requests, and competing business needs effectively.
• Analyze product, user, and business data to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Define and track key metrics, KPIs, and other success indicators.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics resources.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate experiments, product changes, and business initiatives.
• Validate data quality and identify inconsistencies, limitations, or potential risks.
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, hypothesis exploration, and data storytelling while ensuring results remain accurate and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics.
• Strong experience with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis-driven analytical approaches.
• Ability to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets.
• Ability to translate ambiguous or loosely defined business questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Strong SQL skills for querying analytical databases.
• Experience joining, aggregating, transforming, and analyzing data using SQL.
• Strong understanding of data freshness, granularity, quality, and analytical limitations.
• Experience defining meaningful business metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
• Experience conducting funnel, cohort, and retention analysis.
• Experience evaluating experiments and A/B tests.
• Practical understanding of statistical significance, bias, noise, and measurement uncertainty.
• Experience with event-based and product analytics, including user behavior tracking, event design, and feature usage analysis.
• Experience analyzing revenue, customer lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, payback period, ROI, and related unit economics.
• Strong dashboard and report development skills.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Ability to present analytical findings through clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
• Ability to adapt analytical communication to technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical judgment and commitment to maintaining data integrity when using AI-assisted tools.
